When our client approached us, they sought to create their dream home in the historic Myers Park neighborhood of Charlotte, NC. The previous dwelling on the lot had been demolished, making way for a larger residence. However, it was important to conceal the true scale of the home to ensure it blended in well with the surrounding houses on the street. The client wanted a traditional-style that felt current without looking trendy.
